Lynne is the CEO & Film Commissioner of Manitoba Film & Music where she oversees the organization’s strategy and operations, promoting Manitoba around the world as the ideal location for filming and music recording.
Previously, as the Executive Director of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Lynne led the organization’s year-round operations and events including the signature 4-day summer music festival with an annual attendance exceeding 72,000, setting audience and revenue records.
Prior to this she spent more than twelve years in film & television where she produced over 150 hours of original and award-winning programming. As President of Production at Frantic Films, Lynne was responsible for overseeing original production, finance and business affairs and international distribution.
A strong and passionate supporter of her community, she has also volunteered on several boards & committees including the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Imagine Canada and the Canadian Live Music Association.
